arrived.
7000 miles and almost 24 hours later we have arrived in kuwait. i could ask for a better flight, really. i'm still not sure how this happened but i pretty much slept 10 hours of the 12 hour flight from atlanta to kuwait. this was lovely at the time. last night, however, when i tried to (unsuccessfully) go to sleep, it was not. so, i'm thinking my 10 hours may average out with my 3 i got last night for two good nights of sleep. we're staying in a new, although equally as swank, pad this year. hopefully i'll be able to post some pics soon. we'll hopefully have internet at home in the next couple days (i'm at the university right now where facebook is blocked--can you imagine that!?). alright, time to gear up for the trek home. it's only 12:45 pm, how hot can it be!?

I'm so glad you made it, mer! i was staring at the massively huge sky last night (monday here) and wondering if you were there or not, and praying that your flight got there ok. thanks for the update.
are you guys rooming together, or do you have your own swanky apartments?
