vacation.

tomorrow morning jordan awaits our arrival. these past few days i've pondered whether it's jordan i'm really excited about, or getting out of kuwait for a few days. probably a bit of both. i imagine a vacation to see my first wonder of the world, petra, and the dead sea can't be all that bad. and, truth be told, i'm kinda anxious to have a beer...so, all that said, i'll be out of touch for the rest of the week, buy will definitely post pics and stories upon my return.

and one final shout out to my dear friend, DOCTOR linsey barker, who defended her dissertation in industrial and systems engineering today! it pains me not to be there to celebrate this monumental success with you in person! until our big roadtrip to CoMo to visit you in the fall, i shall celebrate remotely with you in jordan...
